A video call where we go through the finished thing with your data in it. You use it, you ask for changes, and only when you are happy does any money change hands. Nothing up front, no deposit, no staged payments.

Payment, then handover. The code, the hosting account, the documentation. You own it outright rather than licensing it back from us, and you can take it to somebody else whenever you like.

That's the most common starting point and it's fine. The call is for exactly this. You tell us which report takes too long or which numbers nobody trusts, and we tell you what we would build and what it would cost. You don't need a spec.

The person who scopes your project stays on it until handover. Where a project needs a specialist we bring one in. The price is agreed in writing before any work begins, and you pay nothing until you have watched the finished thing work with your own data.

Most of our clients are small and medium UK businesses. The point is to give them senior data work at prices that make sense, without enterprise rates or agency overhead. Shell, Citi, the NHS and Warner Bros are in the background. Your business gets the benefit of that experience.
